The number of wheel sizes on the market combined with the different pulley and gearing options can leave many scratching their heads.

Keep in mind when switching out wheels and pulleys that any increase in top speed will negatively affects your braking and acceleration. Also keep in mind rider weight and experience when considering options as a heavier rider will take longer to brake than a similarly experienced lighter rider. Make sure to always riding in controllable, safe manner and wear a helmet!
